Interpretation of e+e peaks in heavy-ion collisions as a Lee-Wick phase transition

Summary

We suggest that the e+e lines seen in heavy-ion collisions are a manifestation of an inhomogeneous Lee-Wick phase transition to abnormal matter, initiated by the presence of the supercritical electric field generated by the heavy-ion collision.
