Null-tetrad formulation of dyons

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1971-1996)

Summary

Spinor equivalents of generalized four-potentials, generalized four-current and generalized field tensor of dyons have been reformulated in terms of null-tetrad notations, and the corresponding field equations of motions and angular momentum of dyons have been derived in a consistent and symmetrical manner. The generalized Maxwell-Dirac equation of dyons have also been reformulated in terms of symmetric spinor, directional derivative and spincoefficients of null-tetrad notations and it has been shown that in this formalism theU(1) gauge structure of dyons enlarges the gauge group to itsSL(2,c) gauge structure.
