Magnetic monopole and mixing angle in Weinberg-Salam's theory

Summary

Nontrivial topological structure of the magnetic monopole could be retrieved in the gauge field theory ofSU 2×U 1 symmetry. Dirac's quantization conditions of themagnetic charge predicts the square sine of the mixing angle to be onequarter.
