Summary
A new precise measurement of σ (e+e−→ hadrons) at low energy is suggested, of particular relevance for the theoretical prediction ofa μ. The method proposed consists in collidingo((10÷100) MeV) electrons from a superconducting linac witho((1÷2) GeV) positrons of a conventional storage ring.
