Mass bounds on heavy-quark partners fromm Lm S of the K0-mesons

Summary

The mass differencem Lm S constrains heavy-quark masses. The bounds are extended into the region abovem W½. We find a lowerm U bound of 7 TeV for the scenariom Cm U. Effects that could change this result are examined. Values ofm U smaller thanm W½ seem to be excluded. The applied methods and obtained results should help to shed more light on the issue of indirectCP violation.
