Summary
We propose a new quarkonium potential model as (C—(lnr/r 0)−1) GeV withC=−3.2,r 0=3 fm. This model featuresa) Coulomb-like fall-off asr→0,b) extended linearity region, 0.03 fm <r<1.2 fm,c) natural confinement barrier atr=r 0, andd) reproduction of charm and bottom quark masses to their real values by energy levels matching of the low-lying states.
