Dependence of møiler scattering on initial and final polarizations of electrons

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

A general expression has been derived for the Møller scattering of electrons taking into consideration any polarization states of both the initial and final electrons. The above expression is found to be very lengthy; a considerable simplification takes place for the special case when the initial electrons are polarized perpendicular to the plane of scattering and the final elections are longitudinally polarized.
