Summary
Liquid drops at rest and in motion have different properties/shapes. Within the inverse mean-field method (Imefim) the same holds also for colliding nuclei in dissipative media. The peculiarities of Imefim and additional empirical observations lead to the proposal of global dependences for\(\sigma _{cr} \left( {A_T ,A_P ;E_P } \right)\) the yield of the capture cross-section for the onset of fast fission.

Le gocce di liquido a riposo e in movimento hanno proprietà e forme differenti. Nell'àmbito del metodo inverso del campo medio (Imefim) ciò vale anche per nuclei che collidono in mezzi dissipativi. Le peculiarità di Imefim e ulteriori osservazioni empiriche portano a suggerire dipendenze globali per\(\sigma _{cr} \left( {A_T ,A_P ;E_P } \right)\) il prodotto della sezione d'urto di cattura per l'inizio della fissione veloce.
