Stopping particles in the mont blanc spark chamber telescopes

Summary

We present the final results on the ratio of stopping to traversing muons as measured by two spark chamber telescopes in the Mont Blanc Station, Italy, at 4300 hg/cm2. The experimental results are in agreement with the theoretical values within the limits of the error.

Si presentano i risultati finali sul rapporto tra i muoni che si arrestano e quelli passanti misurato da due telescopi a camere a scintilla nella Stazione del Monte Bianco, Italia, a 4300 hg/cm2. I risultati sperimentali sono in accordo con quelli teorici entro i limiti di errore.

Приводятся результаты для отношения остановившихся мезонов к прошедшим. Измерения проведены с помощью двух телескопов искровых камер на станции Монблан в Италии, при 4300 hg/cm2. В пределах ошибок экспериментальные результаты согласуются с теоретическими значениями.
