Riassunto

Viene ripreso il problema della diffusione della componente nucleonica di bassa energia nella atmosfera, che viene descritta tramite due equazioni distinte per protoni e neutroni. I fattori di crescita nella bassa e media atmosfera sono in accordo con l'esperienza. Vengono discussi inoltre i dati sperimentali sull'intensità verticale dei protoni e i vari parametri che entrano nella descrizione della diffusione delle componenti in esame.

Summary

The Authors reconsider the problem of the diffusion of the low energy nucleonic component in the athmosphere, which is described through two distinct equations for protons and neutrons. The absorption mean free path in the low and middle atmosphere is consistent with experience. Authors discuss further experimental data on vertical intensity of protons and different parameters involved in the description of the diffusion of above said components.
