Matrix equations for two-fermion systems with magnetic interactions

Summary

The sixteen-component relativistic radial equation for two-fermion systems is reduced to lower-dimensional matrix equations due to the existence of normal divisors. Forj≠0 we obtain two 8×8 matrix equations in two different subspaces, while forj=0 we obtain four 4×4 matrix equations in four different subspaces. Moreover, forj=0 these equations are further reduced to Schrödinger-type radial equations containing highly singular terms in the effective dynamical “potential”.

L’equazione radiale relativistica a 16 componenti per sistemi a due fermioni è ridotta a equazioni matriciali con dimensioni più basse, a causa dell’esistenza di divisori normali. Perj≠0 si ottengono due equazioni matriciali 8×8 in due diversi sottospazi, mentre perj=0 si ottengono quattro equazioni matriciali 4×4 in quattro diversi sottospazi. Inoltre perj=0 queste equazioni sono ulteriormente ridotte a equazioni radiali del tipo di Schrödinger contenenti termini altamente singolari nel “potenziale” dinamico effettivo.

Шестнадцатикопонентное релятивистское радиальное уравнение для систем двух фермионов сводится к матричным уравнениям меньшей размерности, вследствие существования нормальных делителей. Дляj≠0 му получаем два 8×8 матричных уравнения в двух различных подпространствах, тогда как дляj=0 мы получаем четыре 4×4 матричных уравнения в четырех различных подпространствах. Кроме того, дляj=0 эти уравнения сводятся к радиальным уравнениям шредингеровского типа, которые содержат сильно сингулярные члены в эффективном динамическом “потециале”.
