Inverse transform of the scalar wave equation and Poisson’s equation by the concepts of linear space

  • Published:
Journal of Electronics (China)

Abstract

The moment method based on the concepts of linear space can be used not only for numerical computations of electromagnetic field, but also for the analytic solutions. By taking eigenfunction as basis functions and test functions, a very simple and universal formula suitable to different boundary conditions can be got. This formula can be used both for scalar wave equations and vector wave equations by some modifications.
