The analysis of a digital gain control loop

  • Published:
Journal of Electronics (China)

Abstract

In this paper, an auto-gain-control (AGC) loop which operates in a digital correlating receiver is described. The properties of the loop is analyzed mathematically and the formulas to determine the sensibility and other parameters are derived. The static and dynamic features of some examples are shown. The procedure for designing such a gain control loop is discussed.
