Helicity calculations for heavy-lepton production and cascade decay

Summary

We calculate the transition probabilities for neutrino production and cascade decay sequences of charged heavy leptons, using a helicity formalism in which the separate stages are factored. This is an alternative to computer calculations of gamma-matrix traces, which sometimes lead to very cumbersome expressions for long decay chains.
