On the monopole-dyon system in non-abelian Gauge theories

Summary

The multipole forces in the monopole-dyon system with zero total magnetic charge in the Georgi-Glashow model are determined and their consequences for the spectrum of the model investigated. For the strong coupling,e>√8π, some long-living bound states are posbible. The existence of stable localized states with zero magnetic charge and half-integer spin is pointed out.

Si determinano le forze multipolari nel sistema monopolo-dione con carica magnetica totale nulla nel modello di Georgi-Glashow e si analizzano le loro conseguenze nello spettro del modello. Per l'accoppiamento forte,e>√8π, sono possibili alcuni stati legati a vita lunga. Si mette in evidenza l'esistenza di stati localizzati stabili con carica magnetica nulla e spin semiintero.

Определяются мультипольные силы в монополь-дионной системе с полным нулевым магнитным зарядом в модели Джорджи-Глашоу. Исследуются следствия этих сил для спектра этой модели.
