The multistep process in the24Mg(3He, α)23Mg reaction at 10 MeV

Summary

An analysis in terms of CCBA calculations including inelastic effects in both the entrance and exit channels has been performed for the24Mg (3He, α)23Mg reaction at 10 MeV. We found that the multistep process is the dominant mechanism, especially for the 7/2+ state for which the population by a single-step process is forbidden.

È stata effettuata un'analisi della reazione24Mg(3He, α)23Mg a 10 MeV in termini dei calcoli CCBA che includono effetti inelastici sia nel canale d'ingresso che in quello di uscita. Il risultato di tale analisi mostra che i processi a molti passi sono il meccanismo dominante, specie per la transizione allo stato 7/2+ che sarebbe proibita nell'ipotesi di un meccanismo diretto a un solo passo.
