By extending the electromagnetic virial relationF 2μν =−(2/e)(A 2μ )2 to the constraintF 2μν =−(2/e)[(A 2μ )2+a 2(A 2μ )3] simple analytic solutions are obtained. A modified energy-momentum tensor results in an energy expression that is stable with respect to charge-conserving scale perturbations.
