Summary
The contribution of tensor forces to quadrupole moments of heavy nuclei is evaluated. A particular assumption is made concerning the interaction, and it is found that, as long as saturation conditions are satisfied, the introduction of tensor forces does not give excessive quadrupole moments to heavy nuclei.
