SU 4×SU4 Chiral symmetry for pseudoscalar mesons

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

The predictions for the pseudoscalar mesons ofSU 4×SU 4 andSU 3×SU3 chiral symmetries with PCAC are studied.SU 4×SU4 is found reasonably good and consistent withSU 3×SU3. TheSU 4-symmetry partner of η is forced at the mass region of E(1420) rather than of η′(958). The x-meson is predicted around 2.9 GeV and the F at ≈1.92 GeV. The axial-current couplings satisfyf πf Kf Df F.
