K-capture probabilities in the electron capture decay of159Dy

Abstract

TheK-electron capture probabilities (P k) for the 58 keV state and the ground state of159Tb in the decay of159Dy have been determined. The measured values,P k 58 =0.81±0.05 andP k 0 =0.79±0.06 are found to be in excellent agreement with theoretical results.
