S-matrix representations for potentials with infinite range

Summary

Unitary representations for the partial-waveS-matrix in terms of pole trajectories are derived in the complex angular-momentum plane for potentials with infinite range. Different properties of these representations are discussed; their validity is explicitly verified for the Coulomb potential.
