Experimental investigation of the efficiency of dynamic damping of transverse oscillations of a plate

Abstract

We present the results of experimental investigation of transverse oscillations of a plate with dynamic damper whose elastodamping element is made of a polymeric material. We determine the frequencies of free oscillations of the plate with dynamic damper, plot the amplitude-frequency characteristics of this system for various values of its parameters, and compare the results of experimental and theoretical investigations.
