Abstract

A system for controlling the temperature regime of a PK 1552 drop feeder is described. The temperature regime of the feeder is controlled using pulsed fuel combustion. A special spectral ratio pyrometer is shown to be advantageous for controlling the temperature of liquid glass. The results of operation of the designed system mounted on an automatic line with a VV-7 glass-shaping automatic device are presented.
