She has participated in conferences dealing with censorship of media, including the EFLA’s 1978 conference titled “Freedom to View” and IUPUI’s 1979 conference on “The Mind Benders.” In addition, during 1979 she presented programs on censorship in public schools at the AECT convention, the Virginia Educational Media Association conference, and the Virginia School Media Supervisors conference, and recently presented a program before the Indiana Film Council.
