Chiastolite ores as a source for refractory production

Abstract

Ore samples of the Bezymyanskoe deposit in the Kemerovo Region containing about 20% chiastolite (A12O3 · SiO2) are studied. It is shown that the ore can be enriched for the production of concentrate for highalumina refractories.
