Abstract
Data on sintering and properties of CaO obtained from chalk of the Latnenskoe deposit are presented. The sintering process is conducted with additives of A12O3 and without them. The moduli of elasticity of CaO are determined and compared with the moduli of elasticity of BeO and MgO.
