Abstract
An automatic system for measuring photoelectric potential in electrolytes is developed. The system is designed for studying surface oxide films on metals, in particular, their formation and decomposition during corrosion. The method’s sensitivity is significantly improved. The system allowsin situ measuring photo-emf under galvanostatic or potentiostatic conditions.
