Summary
Cytogenetic findings in three patients in the intermediate stage of cirrhosis (Sen’s syndrome) have been described.
The chromosome complement was 46 XY in all three cases and was similar to the normal male karyotype.
It is concluded that Sen’s syndrome is not associated with a chromosomal aberration.
