Abstract
Shaping a signal carrying information using instantaneous values of the output voltage of an eddy-current transducer is considered. The main characteristic that determines the selection of the static or dynamic mode for shaping the informative signal is the system operator, through which the compensation for undesired factors in the testing technique is realized.
