Resonance production in Yпπ final states of Kp interactions at 1.33 GeV/c

Summary

We have studied three final states involving a hyperon and two pions produced by 1.33 GeV/c negative kaons in the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory 72-inch hydrogen bubble chamber. We found the Y *1 (1385) dominated the Λπ+π- final state while the Y *0 (1405) and the Y *0 (1520) were prominent in the Σ±π0π final states. The partial cross-sections, masses, widths and production angular distributions of the resonances were obtained. Resonance production was determined to proceed mainly through thes-channel.

Si sono studiati tre stati finali coinvolgenti un iperone e due pioni prodotti da kaoni negativi di 1.33 GeV/c nella camera a bolle ad idrogeno da 72 pollici del Lawrence Radiation Laboratory.
