Summary
A case of complete transposition of the great vessels with ventricular septal defect in a child of 5 years is described. The main complaints of the child were shortness of breath and repeated respiratory infections. These were considered to be due to high cardiac output; pulmonary artery banding was planned but it could not be done without the parents’consent.
