Dynamical model for a resonance with non-unique angular momentum

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

A model is presented in which the forces due to the presence of an inelastic channel with several spin degrees of freedom cause two different partial-wave phase shifts to go through 90° at the same energy, while a third partial-wave amplitude goes through resonance at two distinct energies. All the resonances occur below the inelastic threshold.
