  5. Different mass relations arise in the two cases due to the fact that onlyF-type coupling is allowed for in the earlier model whereas only D-type coupling is possible in the latter model.

  6. After this work was completed we have seen a paper byJ. Schwinger [Phys.Rev. Lett.,12, 237 (1964)] in which our relation (2) has been given. The relation also seems to have been noticed byS. Coleman andS. L. Glashow: (unpublished). See footnote (5) in Schwinger’s paper above.
