Summary
A general method is given which allows to perform the partial-wave analysis of an arbitrary reaction, and simultaneously exhibits relativistic invariance. It is formally well adapted to use in connection with dispersion relations. The examples of two scalar particles elastic scattering and of pion-nucleon elastic scattering are worked out.
