The emission of light charged particles from highly excited complex nuclei in nuclear emulsion

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

The emission frequencies of the light nuclei p, d, t,3He and4He from Ag and Br nuclei in emulsion were measured using the elastic scattering on protons in the emulsion for the identification of the particles. Results are: (d + t)/(p + d + t) = 0.445±0.086 and (3He+4He)/(p + d+t) = 0.457±0.138.
