Enterogenous cyst causing intestinal obstruction in an infant

Summary

A rare case of duplication of the ileum with signs, symptoms, differential features, and treatment is described. In this particular case, the preoperative diagnosis was intussusception, but was found to be an enterogenous cyst at operation which was subsequently and later confirmed by histologic examination.
