Summary

We study the elementary-excitation spectrum of a system of bosons interacting with a spherical-shell potential function from a theory combining the advantages of the method of correlated-basis-function and canonical transformation. By fitting physical parameters with those of liquid helium four into our derived equations, the computed results agree reasonably well with the experimental ones obtained from neutron scattering.

Si studia lo spettro di eccitazione elementare di un sistema di bosoni che interagiscono con una funzione di Potenziale di strato sferico da una teoria che combina i vantaggi del metodo della funzione di base correlata e della trasformazione canonica. Approssimando i parametri fisici con quelli dell’elio IV liquido nelle nostre equazioni derivate, i risultati calcolati sono in buon accordo con quelli sperimentali ottenuti dalla diffusione dei neutroni.
