The similarity transformation method and diagonalization of two-photon hamiltonians

Summary

We use the method of similarity transformation to get the eigenvalue and eigenfunction spectrum of quantum systems whose Hamiltonians can be mapped onto harmonic-oscillator Hamiltonians. In particular we discuss the cases of forced harmonic oscillator and two-photon Hamiltonians.
