Covariant problem of the magnetic-monopole theory

Summary

In the local quantum field theory of magnetic monopoles proposed by Hagen, not all of the equations of motion are covariant under the Lorentz transformation. In this note we show that, with the introduction of a shadow electromagnetic field quantized with «wrong sign», the locality in the sense of local commutation relations and local equations of motion is still retained, while the equations of motion become covariant under the Lorentz transformation for physical fields.
