Summary
The interaction of a gravitational wave with a dissipative fluid is studied in the high-frequency approximation. The gauge invariance and the degrees of freedom of the gravitational wave in the matter have been carefully examined.

Nell’approssimazione di alta frequenza si studia, in uno spazio-tempo arbitrario, la propagazione di un’onda gravitazionale in un mezzo dissipativo. Si esaminano attentamente l’invarianza di gauge e i gradi di libertà dell’onda nella materia.
