Enteric encephalopathy

Summary

A case of enteric fever with encephalopathy has been reported.

The child was extremely toxic an semiconscious with signs of increased intracranial pressure.

The child was treated with chloramphenicol, vitamin C, B-complex, and P.V.P.

He was cured and discharged after nearly three weeks’ stay in the hospital.

The case has been briefly discussed.
