Nonrelativistic simulation of Dirac’s bag

Summary

We consider Dirac’s relativistic bag model of an extended electron and its hadronic version, and examine to what extent a relativistic bag can be simulated by a nonrelativistic bag. We show that it is possible to construct a nonrelativistic model which reproduces the energy spectrum and the size of the relativistic bag quite well.
