Summary

The coherent diffusion of the resonance radiation was studied in the case of the excitation by amplitude-modulated light in weak magnetic fields of about 2 and 4 G. The width of the observed resonance curves decreased with the increase of the Hg atomic density in the case when the detection frequency was equal to the frequencyf of the modulation of the exciting light as well as in the case of detection frequency two times greater (2f).

it]Riassunto
