Constrained approach to finite-temperature problems

Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

For the description of the effects of restoring symmetries, which are broken in the mean-field approach on thermal properties of manyfermion system, a perturbative theory with external-constraint procedure is explored. Calculations are performed for the generalized Lipkin model in the thermodynamic equilibrium. Results are compared with that of unrestricted Hartree-Fock ones.
