Summary
By considering a spinning electron confined to a one-dimensional box in an external magnetic field, we calculate the discrete-time contribution to the spin-flip frequency in an external magnetic field. For low field, we find the discrete-time fractional correction is field independent, while, for high field, it becomes field dependent.
