Summary
The equations of motion of planar walls in vacuum spaces (de Sitter, Minkowski, Kasner) are computed. We investigate the cases of domain walls and massive walls and some exact solutions of the equations of motion are obtained. For de Sitter-Minkowski embedding spaces and a Minkowski observer the domain wall behaves as a light front. When the domain wall is immersed in de Sitter-de Sitter phases, the expansion rate of the wall increases, while the velocity of walls measured from de Sitter space decreases. For Kasner-de Sitter spaces the wall trajectory may cross the de Sitter event horizon.
