Summary
Netto assimilation and transpiration of pine-needles (Pinus silvestris) have been determined in the Munich Forest Botany Laboratory. Needles with yellow tip-disease, suffering from potassium deficiency, have a lower netto assimilation-rate, but a higher transpiration than green needles, which are rich in potassium.
