Temperature dependence of the induced Chern-Simons term

Summary

We consider the finite-temperature effect to the Chern-Simons term in odd-dimensional gauge theories. In order to do it, we develop the heat kernel method at finite temperature. Using that, we show that the induced Chern-Simons term is temperature dependent.
