New expression of the number operator for theq-deformed boson algebra including theq = 0 case

Summary

In this paper we obtain the new expression for the number operator of the q-deformed oscillator algebra including theq = 0 case and prove the equivalence between this expression and an earlier one given by theq-number forq>0.
