Summary

Implantation in mylar of positrons from22Na was investigated in «broad beam» arrangement. The absorption curve was resolved into two components pertaining to the primary and the scattered beam, respectively. Here the shape of the curve is given in terms of the mylar mass absorption coefficient and of the atomic number of the scatterer. The role played by the scattered positrons in populating the surface layers is outlined.

L'assorbimento in mylar di positroni emessi dal22Na è stato studiato in configurazione «broad beam». La curva d'assorbimento, complessa, è risolvibile in due componenti ascrivibili rispettivamente al fascio primario e a quello retrodiffuso: il uso andamento è dato in funzione del coefficiente d'assorbimento del mylar e del numero atomico del diffusore.

Исследуется имплантация позитронов из22Na в майлар, используя аппаратуру «широкого пучка». В кривой поглощения разрешаются две компоненты, относящиеся соответственно к первичному и к рассеянному пучкам. Определяется форма этой кривой в терминах козффициента поглощения майлара и атомного числа для рассенвателя. Отмечается роль, которую играют рассеянные позитроны в заселении поверхностных уровней.
